On November 4th, the Fifth TOP 20 Hospitals Conference organised by Iasist was held in the Villamagna Hotel in Madrid, with Antares Consulting as the company associated with the programme and with the collaboration of Diario Médico, Inforpress and ESADE.
Attendance at the conference and gala dinner was a complete success, with over 240 participants and the presence of different authorities from 10 autonomous communities.
The main presentation was by Dr. Richard Smith, Editor and Managing Director of the BMJ for the last 13 years. He spoke to us about the vision of the future of hospitals in this century, providing new approaches to the health debate.
The results of the Digestive System Surgery Benchmarks were also presented, as well as an overview of the 5 years of the TOP 20 Hospitals.
The Honourable, Sr. Fernando Lamata presented the TOP 20 awards and was responsible for the conference's closing ceremony. She was accompanied, at the Chairman's table, by the highest authorities of the Autonomous Communities with award-winning hospitals.
