IASIST has participated successfully in the National Health System Quality Plan, after more than a year of intense work analysing assessment areas considered in what is known as "Strategy 9: Improve patient care for certain pathologies."

Within the framework of this strategy, IASIST has actively worked on assessing key care areas such as cancer, COPD, ischemic cardiopathy, strokes, diabetes, mental health and palliative care.

The analysis, led by IASIST, has covered quality and efficiency aspects for different care areas providing a key quantitive perspective on which to base each of their relevant strategies.

Furthermore, IASIST has been responsible for providing analysis on the variability of clinical practice and care for women's pathologies nationally.
